Puppies open their eyes

Polly's pups



Polly's pups were born yesterday morning - six bitches and one dog. Paulo had taken Polly to Belgium in November to be mated to Boxing Helena's Halo Sundog.

Leia at nine months

Her full name is "I Wannabe Princess da Roseira Brava", so we call her Leia. She is from Pisca's litter last summer, sired by Nut Chip of Nevedith.

She's just turned nine months and we're planning to show her over the summer, and thereafter.

Ronaldo wins reserve ticket

Ronaldo is a dog we bred last year, his father is Gambler and his mother is Lucy. Our friend Kirsi from Finland was here on holiday last June, and took him home to join her other two, including Carlos (Duarte da Roseira Brava), that I'm always boasting about.

Anyway, Ronaldo has just won his first reserve CAC, which is brilliant for a dog in junior class. The judge was Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen and her report ended: "Nearly straight tail. Excellent rough coat. Lively and happy dog." Nice to hear.

Kirsi, you're a star.

Puppy photos

Photos of Júlio César (top) and Jessie (bottom) at three months. It's our "J" year for litters, the other pups form Canela are Just Jenny and Jackpot. We're keeping Jenny (pictures to follow soon) and the other three are available to new homes.

Canela's pups

Canela has a litter of four pups, sired by Gambler. The photo shows them when still tiny, but they'll be eight weeks next weekend. They've been enjoying the fine weather today, playing out on the terrace.

I'll post some new photos just as soon as I can...

Pisca's pups at 9 weeks

They're nine weeks old, they have names, they play with the other dogs and they're growing fast.
